Parallel development notifications for IDMS/ADSO

Because of the close integration of AbitMORE SCM for IDMS/ADSO with ChangeMan ZMF, various parallel development features included in ChangeMan ZMF automagically become available for IDMS/ADSO components also. One such feature is illustrated in the screen-print below:

The parallel development warning shown is displayed whenever some IDMS/ADSO component (such as SITSAA1.ADS) is included in more then 1 change package that is 'not yet installed in production'.

Such message is shown either at checkout time (right before the parallel development is started) or at checkin time.

Synch10 processing (to flag version regression issues as part of ChangeMan ZMF audit processing) is another parallel development features included in ChangeMan ZMF that is available also for IDMS/ADSO components.

What is more: by using ChangeMan ZMF's powerful (online) scanning features to scan bill of material components (automatically created and maintained by AbitMORE SCM for IDMS/ADSO) it is even possible to identify version issues for building blocks of an executable ...!
